This new plating will stand up to the test of time, as this razor already has since the 1950's! This razor has gone through our complete Revamp restoration process- including resurfacing, polishing, mechanical adjustment, plating, ultra-sonic cleaning, and lubrication. Razor has a solid weight in your hand, and handle knurling adds grip and control to your shave.

History: The Gillette Super Speed came on the scene in the late 1940's and ran through continuous production into the 1980's. The post 1947 type features a notched center bar to quickly load blades from the old Gillette dispensers and is known as one of the best all around DE razors to be made.
