Available is an 6/8" Joseph Rodgers & Sons "The Rodgers" Wedge that was manufactured in Sheffield, England. This blade is ground with a barber's notch, making it super desirable and collectable. This straight razor makes for a great veteran level razor because of its size, history, and comfortable shave provided. Marked on the tang: "Cutlers to Their Majesties No.6 Norfolk Street Sheffield"

History of Joseph Rodgers and Sons: Appointed cutlers to His Majesty King George IV in 1821; chosen as one of 5 firms to make cutlery specimens for presentation to the Duke of York in 1826
Restoration: This razor went through our complete Revamp service. It was first polished to a near mirror finish, removing all active rust and as much metal as was safe for this grind. The scales were also polished to give a high luster. The blade then went through our True Honing process, utilizing stones such as a Naniwa Chosera 10k, Belgian Yellow Coticule and Shapton 30k to give this straight razor the perfect edge. It arrives to you stropped and shave ready.
