A beautiful razor from the 1910's Ball End Old Type Gillette. Made for almost two decades, these razors are durable, beautiful, and aggressive shavers. If you have a coarse beard, this is the razor for you! It features an open comb guard and balanced ball-end handle, teeth straight and ready to shave. This razor has been around for over 100 years, and now with its beautiful fresh Nickel mirror shine, it will be around for another 100!

This razor has gone through our complete Revamp restoration process- including polishing, mechanical adjustment, plating, lubricating and painting. Nothing is bent or broken. The razor head doors open and the TTO or twist to open mechanism works perfectly in seamless motions. This razor is of the highest quality.

History: The Gillette Old Type was the original razor head produced by Gillette Safety Razor Co. It features open comb design with two stabilizer pins that keep the blade straight. These heads are known for their smooth yet aggressive shaves. These were the same model as featured in the WWI Khaki sets.
