A beautiful razor from 1918 WWI U.S. Khaki Set made by Gillette. These were made for both consumers and soldiers during the war. These sets are quite unique and rare- coming with the razor, blade bank, and mirror. This particular set features open comb guard and balanced ball-end handle. Teeth straight and ready to shave. Head stamped PROPERTY US ARMY, indicating that this set was actually used by a solidier in WWI, the serial number begins with a J reaffirming this as an Army Issued DE Razor possibly on the front lines of WWI.

History: The Gillette Old Type was the original razor head produced by Gillette Safety Razor Co. It featues open comb design with two stabilizer pins that keep the blade straight.
