A beautiful Old Type Ball End razor featuring open comb guard and balanced ball-end handle. The razor head has been professionally restored by our team of razor experts. The surface has been refinished and replated transforming this antique into a modern usuable connection to history! The handle is modern made from solid brass and plated in nickel. These handles historically had cracks due to the press fitting. We have corrected this issue by threading the neck and ball into the handle rather than press-fitting. The threads have been thread-locked and will never crack. The teeth are mostly straight and all are ready to shave, and the finish is stain and scratch resistant!
Rarely seen an Old Type stamped with this unique Gillette Logo. We know by the GD stamp under the head that this razor was intended to be sold on the European market, this razor deserves it's place on display!
