A sought after razor indeed- the British HD Rocket. Great overall condition on this razor with nothing bent or broken- great mechanical condition. Features worm gear style TTO mechanism - providing a very smooth open and close! Watch as the bottom TTO knob goes up into the handle as you open it and close it. This particular razor's TTO is tighter than some, however it functions beautifully still!
The British designs for the Gillette razors were definitely superior to many of their American counterparts. The HD means that this razor is Heavy Duty - heavier than most vintage razors at 68 grams. Feels amazing in your hand! Blade tray reads PATENT PENDING - rare indeed!
