Available to you is rare Gillette razor, a topic of much debate! Known as the Monotech and/or Brazilian Aristocrat. An intriguing piece of Gillette's history. This razor features only half a date code. There is no letter present! Either from early 1950's, or the 1970's but featuring a mistake in the stamping. We may never know!

You'll notice the knurled TTO knob is a departure from the British and American types. This would be an ideal starter razor for someone new to wet-shaving and a perfect piece to store away in your collection! Not commonly available.Doors open smooth and easy and are bright and shiny in fresh Rhodium plating. This new plating will stand up to the test of time, as this razor already has since the 1960's! This razor was mirror finished before plating and shines brilliantly.
