The Prospector Edition celebrates our home state of Arizona's history as a great mining resource of precious metals and the men who called themselves Prospectors, sustained by boundless faith and never-quenched hope. The Fatboy is the original and ultimate in masculine shaving comfort. A design so classic it has been replicated by all the modern razors we love today. Made in the USA in the height of the golden age of manufacturing, this razors full brass construction has been lovingly and expertly Revamped by our team of Razor Specialists!
This vintage razor arrives 100% Shave Ready with exquisite new Rhodium and 24K Gold plating.
For those who prefer a adjustability with their shaves - look no further than the Gillette Super 84 a.k.a. Gillette Super Adjustable - short handle.
This is a unique razor to say the least to the collector. We were surprised to see that this razor does in fact have a Q1 date code, which we had not seen before. If you check out our date code section on our website https://www.razorarchive.com/gillette-date-codes there is not even a Q year! yet, we even looked at this with a eye glass, and are sure it is a Q, and not an O! A rare anomaly from Gillette! Technically, Q would be 1971.
