1974 U2 Gillette Super Adjustable 84 Safety Razor | Original Condition

Available is the classic short handle Super Adjustable from Gillette. Nothing bent or broken- great mechanical condition. The Super Adjustable is one of the most sought after and popular razor models made by Gillette due to the unique black anodized aluminum handle.

This model is the short handle version, though is longer than most Gillette razor handles. The adjuster works very easy, and spins from 1-9, changing the amount of blade gap exposed during your shave. The higher the number, the bigger the blade gap (thus more aggressive of a shave), the smaller the gap (more mild shaves).

Vintage safety razors pack some of the most bang for the buck, but knowing if they are fully functional, hygienic and shave-ready is a different story. This razor has gone through our complete tune up process. We first clean the razor in our industrial ultrasonic machine to remove any soap scum, mineral deposits and grime. Disassembly is carried out for the best results whenever possible. Next we carefully polish the inside and out of the razor, bringing the vintage metal up to a high luster. Mechanical adjustments are made to ensure the best functionality of the razor.
