4/8" Wagner 1/2 Hollow Round Point | Solingen, Germany

Available is a newly restored vintage straight razor from around the 1920's. Made in Germany, the Wagner razor has superb steel and performs with comfortable shaves. Original ornate molded scales accentuate the original nature of this retro razor. Polished and to a near mirror finish- no active rust but some devil's spit pitting remaining showing the razor's long life and history. Sharpened to a keen edge and ready to deliver!

History: Germany is famous for being a country to have historically produced some of the finest straight razors ever. The quality and hardness of metal from these Solingen razors stood the test of time to keep the wet shaving tradition alive today.

Restoration: This razor went through our complete Revamp service. It was first polished, removing all active rust and as much metal as was safe for this grind. Next, new Micarta scales were fashioned. The blade then went through our True Honing process, utilizing stones such as a Naniwa Chosera 10k, Belgian Yellow Coticule and Shapton 30k to give this straight razor the perfect edge. It arrives to you stropped and shave ready.
