Available is a newly restored vintage straight razor. This 5/8" straight razor is both a great starter straight razor and a nice addition to any collection. Mother of Pearl Tang is stunning. This medium sized razor features a half hollow grind making it easier to hone as well as helping it cut through a beard with ease! Restoration: This razor went through our complete Revamp service. It was first polished, removing all active rust and as much metal as was safe for this grind. The blade then went through our True Honing process, utilizing stones such as a Naniwa Chosera 10k, Belgian Yellow Coticule and Shapton 30k to give this straight razor the perfect edge. It arrives to you stropped and shave ready.
History: George W. Korn manufacturing was located in Little Valley, NY from 1900 to 1925. This factory made blades for many firms including, Case, Catteraugus, and Sears and Roebuck.
