This Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett Co 5/8" Straight Razor is a beauty! The blade is in wonderful shape, especially considering that it was made in the late 1800's. No pitting at all! The Hollow Grind looks fantastic how it rolls off the shoulder. It's also sure to shave as well as it looks with the hollow grind making it easy to trim through the toughest of wiskers. And the barbers notch just adds to the already great character of this blade! The scales are the original celluloid and the design is still in perfect shape! The razor has been disassembled, cleaned, and polished leaving this razor in perfect condition! Don't let this American made masterpiece get away!

Some History: Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett Co-  Started as Tuttle, Hibbard Co when William G. Hibbard partnered with the Chicago store Tuttle in 1865. Franklin Spencer joined in 1867 and the company renamed to Hibbard and Spencer Co. A.C Bartlett become a partner in 1862 and they became Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett Co. In 1932 the company opened up a new line of hardware tools under the name true value. In 1962 the company and the brand name "True Value" were sold to John Cotter for 2.5 million.
