5/8" Vintage #3 Hollow Ground Straight Razor | Hamburg Germany

Available is a 5/8" Vintage #3 Straight Razor w/ original Black Horn Scales. This razor was crafted by the experts in Germany, world renowned for their quality metal and razors produced. 

This blade is ground with a square tip, this would make a good starter straight razor for someone getting into wet-shaving, or a nice option for a seasoned veteran. The blade has a wonderful smile, preferred by many shavers for a clean smooth shave.

This straight razor makes for a great razor because of its large size and comfortable shave provided. Ground with a hollow grind, this will plow down stubble with no trouble. Blade has been carefully buffed, and has a brilliant mirror shine.

Restoration: This razor went through our complete Revamp service. It was first polished to a near mirror finish, removing all active rust and as much metal as was safe for this grind. The scales were also polished to give a high luster. The blade then went through our True Honing process, utilizing stones such as a Naniwa Chosera 10k, Belgian Yellow Coticule and Shapton 30k to give this straight razor the perfect edge. It arrives to you stropped and shave ready.
