A rare find, this gorgeous straight razor dates back to before the Civil War. Hale Warranted based in Bristol, Connecticut was founded in 1837. The stub tail is iconic of early straight razors. This wedge pulls a hefty amount of steel through your beard with little effort. The spine features a beautiful detail of graduating imprints. New G10 scales are extra durable and bold in royal blue. This razor arrives 100% shave ready polished, honed, stropped, and oiled.

Restoration: This razor went through our complete Revamp service. It was first polished to a near mirror finish, removing all active rust and as much metal as was safe for this grind. The scales were also polished to give a high luster. The blade then went through our True Honing process, utilizing stones such as a Naniwa Chosera 10k, Belgian Yellow Coticule and Shapton 30k to give this straight razor the perfect edge.
