A beautiful razor from the 1910's WWI U.S. Service Set made by Gillette. These were made for both consumers and soldiers during the war. These sets are quite unique and rare - coming with the razor, blade bank, and mirror. Featuring open comb guard and balanced ball-end handle. Teeth straight and ready to shave. This set is customized with the soliders name "H.H. Harden".

History: The Gillette Old Type was the original razor head produced by Gillette Safety Razor Co. It featues open comb design with two stabilizer pins that keep the blade straight. These heads are known for their smooth yet aggressive shaves. These were the same model as featured in the WWI Khaki sets.
