History: The New Improved was the second major line of safety razors produced by Gillette. Featuring popular sets such as the Bostonian, Tuckaway and Richwood, the line of razors were both technically improved through a new guard / handle combination as well as marked in a much more clever and commercial way. Known to be great shavers with a solid feel, the New Improved line of DE razors will forever be known as one of Gillette's classic examples of designing something timeless.
