A beautiful razor from the 1930's featuring open comb guard and balanced ball-end handle. Teeth straight and ready to shave. This was assued in a cool basketweave case in the 1930's with matching blade holder. Crack on handle is original and common on this model - it cracked back in the 1930's and was a defect in the metal standard. Cap still tightens just fine.

History: The NEW series of razors debeauted in the early 1930's, and was an attempt by Gillette to simplify their handle design. This razor also culminated with the realase of the NEW style blade to keep an edge on their competition. It was the last series of razors issued before the release of the TTO in 1934.
