For those who prefer a adjustability with their shaves - look no further than the Gillette Super 109 a.k.a. Gillette Super Adjustable - long handle. This razor features a brass head with original nickle plating and aluminum handle. Wet-shavers world-wide respect the quality and popularity of this renowned adjustable razor. The adjuster works very easy, and spins from 1-9, changing the amount of blade gap exposed during your shave. The higher the number, the bigger the blade gap (thus more aggressive of a shave), the smaller the gap (more mild shaves).

They are known to deliver great shaves and are one of the last DE razors to be made by Gillette. Nothing bent or broken - perfect mechanical condition. It has been ultra-sonically cleaned, sanitized, adjusted, polished and is shave-ready upon arrival to you.

This is a unique razor to say the least to the collector. We were surprised to see that this razor does in fact have a Q1 date code, which we had not seen before. If you check out our date code section on our website https://www.razorarchive.com/gillette-date-codes there is not even a Q year! yet, we even looked at this with a eye glass, and are sure it is a Q, and not an O! A rare anomoly from Gillette! Technically, Q would be 1971.

Doors open and close like Ferrari doors, and are bright and shiny in original nickel plating. Perfect gift or addition to your heirloom collection.
