The unique lid can be opened two ways: unscrew the top completely or flip up the lid and lather up right from the jar.

You can bloom this shaving soap by putting a small amount of very warm water over the top of the soap. Let sit for about 10 minutes. Use the water as a pre shave or pour off, then whip up lots of creamy, stable, long lasting lather. My testers tell me that the lather lasted well past the three passes. Let the shaving soap dry between uses so it will last longer.
